The following economic reports will be issued in Washington (all times EST):

SUNDAY: No events of note.

MONDAY: No events of note.

TUESDAY: Commerce Department releases international trade data for October, 8:30 a.m.; Commerce Department releases wholesale trade inventories for October, 10 a.m.; Labor Department releases job openings and labor turnover survey for October, 10 a.m.; Federal Reserve policymakers begin a two-day meeting to set interest rates.

WEDNESDAY: Federal Reserve releases a statement on interest rates, 12:30 p.m., releases an economic forecast, 2 p.m., and Chairman Ben Bernanke is scheduled to hold a news conference starting at 2:15 p.m.; Treasury releases federal budget for November, 2 p.m.

THURSDAY: Labor Department releases weekly unemployment claims, 8:30 a.m.; Commerce Department releases retail sales data for November, 8:30 a.m.; Labor Department releases the Producer Price Index for November, 8:30 a.m.; Freddie Mac, the mortgage company, releases weekly mortgage rates, 10 a.m.; Commerce Department releases business inventories for October, 10 a.m.

FRIDAY: Labor Department releases Consumer Price Index for November, 8:30 a.m.; Federal Reserve releases industrial production for November, 9:15 a.m.

SATURDAY: No events of note.

Berlin — Germany releases export data for October.

Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton travels to Morocco, Tunisia and the United Arab Emirates, through Dec. 14.

Washington — Supreme Court on break until Jan. 7.

Berlin — Germany's ZEW institute releases its monthly investor confidence index for Europe's biggest economy.

Washington — Senate Finance subcommittee hearing on tax reform and energy policy.

Los Angeles - Tentative arraignment for Lindsay Lohan on charges she lied to police and was driving recklessly when her car slammed into truck on Pacific Coast Highway.

Los Angeles - Trial on whether "Modern Family" teen star Ariel Winter should continue living with her adult sister.

Brussels — European Union finance ministers meet to seek a deal on how to supervise the region's 6,000 banks, a key requirement to create a banking union.

London — Britain releases monthly unemployment data.
