NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed $4.25 a bale higher to $18.55 lower Monday.

The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton advanced 122 points to 68.72 cents per pound Monday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
