NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed $1.05 a bale lower to $2.35 higher Thursday. The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton advanved 32 points to 73.13 cents per pound Thursday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
