NEW YORK (AP) — Cotton futures No. 2 closed 45 cents a bale lower to $1.05 higher Monday. The average price for strict low middling 1 & 1-16 inch spot cotton advanced 4 points to 66.04 cents per pound Monday for the seven markets, according to the Market News Branch, Memphis USDA.
