NEW YORK (AP) — Cinnamon Beach surged through an opening on the rail and pulled away for a 4 1/4-length victory over Washington's Rules on Friday in the $69,000 allowance feature at Aqueduct. A 5-year-old trained by Phillip Scott, Cinnamon Beach snapped a 10-race losing streak with his third win in 24 starts. Irad Ortiz, Jr. was aboard for the 1 1/8 miles in 1:51.81. Cinnamon Beach paid $17.20, $6.40 and $4.50. Washington's Rules, the 3-2 favorite, returned $3.50 and $3.10, while Praetorian Guard, longest shot in the field at 40-1, paid $10 to show.
