Grain futures, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures rose Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery rose 3.50 cents to $8.60 a bushel; March corn rose 5.75 cents to $7.5775 a bushel; March oats rose 12 cents to $3.97 a bushel; while January soybeans jumped 23.75 cents to $14.7925 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures also rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle rose 0.37 cent to $1.3052 a pound; January feeder cattle rose 0.83 cent to $1.4640 a pound; while February lean hogs rose 0.13 cent to 85.65 cents a pound.
