Grains futures mixed, livestock prices rose

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures traded mixed Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery rose 6.25 cents to $8.90 a bushel; December corn fell 8.25 cents to $7.6950 a bushel; December oats slipped 0.50 cent to $3.87 a bushel; while November soybeans jumped 44.25 cents to $17.4575 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 0.60 cent to $1.2770 a pound; October feeder cattle rose 1.02 cent to $1.4737 a pound; while October lean hogs rose 0.70 cent to 73.42 cents a pound.
