Grains futures fall, livestock prices mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grains futures fell Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery fell 34 cents to $8.7875 a bushel; December corn fell 7.25 cents to $7.7825 a bushel; December oats fell 16.75 cents to $3.6550 a bushel; while November soybeans dropped 52.75 cents to $15.6950 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

August live cattle slipped 0.20 cent to $1.1880 a pound; August feeder cattle rose 2.02 cent to $1.3767 a pound; while August lean hogs fell 0.40 cent to 92.92 cents a pound.
