JPMorgan Chase blew away a cloud of concern hanging over the banking industry Friday and set off a rally in stocks. Relieved investors drove up bank stocks, ended a six-day losing streak for the market and sent the Dow Jones industrial average up 204 points, the best day this month. The Dow rose 203.82 points, or 1.6 percent, to 12,777.09. The S&P 500 rose 22.02 points, or 1.7 percent, to 1,356.78. The Nasdaq composite index rose 42.28, or 1.5 percent, to 2,908.47. For the week: The Dow is up 4.62 points, or 0.04 percent. The S&P 500 is up 2.10 points, or 0.2 percent. The Nasdaq is down 28.86 points, or 1 percent. For the year: The Dow is up 559.53 points, or 4.6 percent. The S&P 500 is up 99.18 points, or 7.9 percent. The Nasdaq is up 303.32 points, or 11.6 percent.
