RUSTON, La. (AP) — Raheem Appleby scored 22 points and Cordarius Johnson had 15 to lead Louisiana Tech to a 99-62 victory against Southeast Louisiana in a nonconference game on Wednesday. Louisiana Tech (6-1) outscored Southeast Louisiana 69-34 in the second half while shooting 75 percent (24 of 32) from the field. Michale Kyser scored 12 for the Bulldogs, who have won six in a row. Dre Evans had 19 points and Brandon Fortenberry 10 for the Lions (1-4). The Lions were tied at 6-all when they went on a 14-2 run to take a 22-8 lead on two free throws by Fortenberry with 6:45 left in the half. The Bulldogs fought back, however, and managed a 30-28 lead at halftime with Johnson scoring seven points in the run and Appleby making a 3-pointer with 26 seconds left. The Bulldogs opened the second half on an 11-0 run and pulled away from there.
