TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — A police report shows a University of Alabama sorority member didn't want to press charges after claiming she was beat up by the daughter of Crimson Tide football coach Nick Saban. A Tuscaloosa Police Department report obtained Friday by The Associated Press through an open records request shows officers closed the case three hours after it happened in 2010. A spokesman says that's because the sorority member declined to prosecute. The document doesn't show any names. But police say it's the report created after Alabama student Sarah Grimes went to a hospital emergency room claiming she was injured in a fight with Kristen Saban, the coach's daughter. Grimes is now suing for at least $10,000. Kristen Saban has filed papers saying she acted in self-defense and isn't responsible for Grimes' injuries.
