WEST LONG BRANCH, N.J. (AP) — John Kelly passed for two touchdowns and ran for another to help St Francis (Pa.) beat Monmouth (N.J.) 45-31 Saturday. Tied 7-all with 7:38 left in the first quarter, Lucas Santangelo returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown to give St. Francis (4-6, 3-4 Northeast conference) a 14-7 advantage. Monmouth (4-5, 3-3) would not get any closer as St. Francis outscored the Hawks 24-10 the rest of the first half. John Kelly tossed both his touchdowns in the first half — a 2-yard pass to Josh Thiel and a 16-yard completion to A.J. Alexander — to help the Red Flash take a 38-17 lead into halftime.
