BIRMINGHAM, England (AP) — Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert will be banned from his team's Premier League match against Arsenal on Saturday. Lambert was given a one-match ban for improper conduct during his team's 1-0 loss to Manchester City on Saturday. He has also been fined 8,000 pounds ($12,723). Villa's loss to the Premier League champions on Saturday dropped the team into the relegation zone with nine points from 12 games. Last season, Aston Villa finished only two points clear of the relegation zone. Villa is owned by American businessman Randy Lerner, the former Cleveland Browns owner.
