MACOMB, Ill. (AP) — Terell Parks had 15 points and seven rebounds and Ceola Clark scored 12 points to lead Western Illinois to a 71-39 victory in its season opener against Wabash College on Saturday night. Adam Link added 10 points for the Leathernecks, who took control of the game with an 18-2 run to close the first half. Western Illinois led 34-15 at the break. Ross Sponsler scored 14 points and Kasey Oetting 13 for the Little Giants. Wabash, a Division III school in Crawfordsville, Ind., classified the game as an exhibition.
