PARK CITY, Utah (AP) — The U.S. Grand Prix featuring top Olympic contenders in both halfpipe skiing and snowboarding has been postponed until February. The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association announced the move to assure the highest quality halfpipe for competitors. The events were scheduled for Dec. 21-22 at Park City Mountain Resort. The finals have been moved to Feb. 1-2. Those expected to compete in freeskiing include Jen Hudak, David Wise, Maddie Bowman, Tucker Perkins, Brita Sigourney, Simon Dumont and Gus Kenworthy. Snowboarding competitors include Louie Vito, Hannah Teter, Gretchen Bleiler, Kelly Clark, Maddy Schaffrick, Matt Ladley, Elena Hight and Greg Betz. The FIS freestyle World Cup events remain scheduled for Deer Valley Resort on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, with the finals at night in both moguls and aerials.
