Philippines Oil Spill

A resident steps on the shore amidst an oil spill incident Friday Aug. 9, 2013 that affected Rosario township and three other coastal townships in Cavite province south of Manila, Philippines. Radio reports said the Philippine Coast Guard confirmed the oil spill to the leak in the pipeline of an oil company that unloaded its oil cargo from its tanker to its refinery in the coastal township. Thousands of residents were affected that prompted the local government to declare a state-of-calamity. (AP Photo/Bullit Marquez)
